Apparently brand new and kept top scret by..... Sony Records.......
The first two Kandahar albums have been reissued.
Both Long Live Sliced Ham and In The Court Of Catarina Squeezer are much worthy of Belgium surrealist music scene and Belgium's answer to Supersister.
Long live the sliced ham (Re-issue) (2009) CD, 8 tracks In the court of Catherina Squeezer (Re-issue) (2009) CD, 6 tracks Unfortunately, they don't mention their third album Pictures From The Past

Oooooooh!
Great news, Hugues! I must get these. I really enjoy these first two albums. I also hope they've been remastered 'cause the sound is a bit shabby on the cassette/vinyl versions I've heard. Edited by James - June 11 2009 at 10:24 |

I figured you'd be the first and (most likely AND unfortunately) the last to answer to this great news....
Why am I laughing at this???

You spoke too soon, Hugues! They're not mindblowingly amazing but they have this unique charm that makes me listen to them more often than not. So having both these releases on CD will be wonderful. The sound quality of my copies are terrible too. |

I got them on order and they're going to be cheap too.

I'd say it was more Belgian Jazz with some progginess but it's cool nevertheless!
Most of my favourite bands are from Belgium. |

I got thev Cd reissues in hand >>> paid €8.00 at Metrophone >>> cheap.
Minimum service: no remaster,, one leaf booklet, the first being represented by the blue boxing glove rather than the orange & pink motorbike a& fan artwork no liner notes, etc....

Oh, that's disappointing.
However, just having them on CD is still excellent. Although I could just make a CD-R... I'm guessing they're better quality than the cassette/vinyl rips though? Edited by James - June 23 2009 at 19:03 |

I've warned Greg Walker (Syn-Phonic) and he told me he would getthem on his catalogue....
But you can probably go to your store and order them as well.
They've been seen in some record shops in Belgium.
