This has been discussed before. People tend to think APC are qualified for this site simply because Maynard from Tool is a member.
But if we started including every side project of a band on this site, we would never get anything else done. You don't see Wings on here just because The Beatles are, do you? |

Yeah, APC has some nice tendencies, but this has been asked and answered. |

I mean, I really dig their music, and personally I would consider them Xover if anything, but I just don't think enough people here would support their inclusion to make a real go of it. They are great, but much too mainstream in the end. |

Love the band but they don't belong here.

I reviewed one of their albums at Amazon a few years back, on the basis of being Nu Prog - and perhaps got my worst response from readers. However, their last album of covers is intriguing (if sometimes difficult material), but certainly works on the level of exploratory rock music that had infused progressive music so vibrant ly between 68-72.
