EXMAGMA Here is the place to talk about the kraut / jazz rock of EXMAGMA. This band had a very short career, perpetuating a unique sound in two memorable albums (their self title in 1973 and Goldball in 1975). Their kind of jazz rock easily mixed long epic instrumental jam sessions to structured jazz, with a cool groove, some discreet funky accents and remarkable keyboards parts!! If you need to have a comparison with others bands, you have to search something between Soft Machine at their best moments (third, Fourth) and the eastern fusion jazz of Kraan.

Any music played while wearing such enormous trousers would have to be awesome. Where can I find their albums? |

thanks guys! here you have a link from daily records, maybe you can do something by adressing directly a mail to them...however you can find their albums in LP's versions (from a second hand, that's what I did) not easy but that's real hard to find their work!!! too badly distributed!!

Are they wearing stilts, or do they have enormously long legs, and the keyboardist can't afford a higher stand?

I have both their vinyls and both are easily at my top 50. Very good psychedelic krautrock jamming free jazz. |
