Some amazing video about former gang-bangers attempting to help some of the poorest children in the States. A side of the US you may not realize exists, and there are lots of other places just like it. It affects all races, urban and rural.
These men are heroes to me for what they are attempting to do here, fighting back against their own thug past in an attempt to turn these kids from the same. As you can see, they have their work cut out for them. The solutions to this kind of poverty can be debated...and that's not the point of the post.
