Greg Lake.com reports a US tour for Keith and Greg in April, but no Carl Palmer.

Breaking News!

Keith Emerson and Greg Lake U.S. Tour Announced

Many American fans have expressed keen disappointment because they cannot make the UK reunion of Emerson Lake and Palmer. We are all looking forward to that event, and that first reunion of the band in more than a decade is the highlight of the coming summer.

Nonetheless, American fans will not be disappointed. There is a special treat in store as Greg and his writing and performing partner tour this April in what is billed as "An intimate evening with Keith Emerson and Greg Lake, featuring the music of Emerson Lake and Palmer, the Nice and King Crimson."

This special "unplugged" and intimate two man show is unlike any the two have performed, solo or with others, and we eagerly look forward to meeting you there.

The tour begins in April and the following dates are already booked:

April 1, 2010 - Cleveland, OH - Lakewood Civic Auditorium
April 2, 2010 - Glenside, PA - Keswick Theater
April 3, 2010 - Ridgefield, CT - Ridgefield Play House
April 6, 2010 - Alexandria, VA - The Birchmere
April 8, 2010 - New York, NY - Nokia Theatre Times Square
April 9, 2010 - Westbury, NY - Theatre at Westbury
(More dates will be added soon)

Welcome back...to the show that never ends. We promise surprises and personal moments and a memorable evening that you will never forget.

So its an unplugged event.

Looks like a completely percussion-free two-man acoustic show. Quite intriguing, this! I guess Take a Pebble and Lucky Man are givens. Hang On to A Dream and I Talk to the Wind, too!

April 2nd: Glenside, Pennsylvania.

I'll definitely try and make this show. Too bad Palmer isn't joining them, I'm not a huge ELP fan, but I wouldn't mind seeing them perform.

haha..  I have been the king of jinx recently... must have used up all my good karma to see PFM lay waste to all prog pretenders .. present and future at Nearfest earlier last year.

since then... we had the infamous Yes parking lot show... with an opening act consisting of a  typhoon/lighting storm... stayed to the bitter end till Steve got shocked by his guitar and they gave it up.  My wallet took 2 WEEKS to dry out hahah

the infamy of seeing DT display everything cringworthy about prog..... we left early

Porcupine Tree bore us both to tears in a sh*tty venue... we left early...

Eddie Jobson and UZED which was killer...  but someone forgot to tell the sound engineer they were playing at a joint called the Jammin Java and the show nearly left me deaf for a week hahah.

jinx?... too late my friend hahha.

hahah...   I wasn't kidding Brian... you might as well toss any idea of seeing Emerson and Lake... something will happen.   California will slide into the ocean...

second attempt to see Yes in the last year.. this weekend....about to be snowed out by blizzard conditions and several feet of snow.
