Hello,

First post for me.

I think Robin Williamson ( from the The Incredible String Band ) should be included in the Prog Folk section, especially the album A Glint at the Kindling which in my opinion is one of the best prog folk albums ever. It gently combines elements of celtic music, baroque, psychedelic folk, and surreal bardic storytelling.

Thanks for the suggestion dodo, is there any place on the internet where I can stream some of his music?

Am I the only one whose heart stopped beating when for a moment they saw "Robbie Williams"?

Hi, you can listen to samples here:
http://www.amazon.com/Glint-at-Kindling-Robin-Williamson/dp/B001BN1V5S/ref=ntt_mus_ep_dpi_lnk

But the samples are short and don't do it justice. I couldn't find any better places where you can stream. Maybe I should upload some to youtube?

Unfortunately the Amazon samples don't load on my computer, but I alerted the Prog Folk Team about this suggestion nonetheless, so it doesn't slip unnoticed.

We're considering Robin - ISB was a shoo-in but WIlliamson's solo stuff is more varied and some of it is just plain folk music so this may take some discussion.  We'll keep you posted...
