Helmut K öllen--after all, he's not even singing his native language. . .
Let's also give credit to Trevor Horn and John Entwhistle.

Greg Lake because he´d sung in the first and the best Prog Rock band.
I´m surprised for preliminary 1st place of Geddy Lee. Maybe therefore this is a Canadian web...

Wetton easily for me. Has a voice as good as Greg Lake but as a bassist is miles in front. Geddy Lee = great bassist but vocally just okay and nothing more.

Gene Simmons or Phil Lynott ! Just a joke, they're rocky. But, Geddy Lee is the right one here. Mariusz is really a missing item from the list, Ihsahn and Les Claypool too .

Have to go with Lee, then Lake, then Squire. The complexity of the bass lines and their ability to play them and sing live is the key. These 3 are amazing to watch and listen to live. At times it doesn't seem possible to play what they're playing and sing. What they do in the studio doesn't count, as they play and sing separately (I know I'm stating the obvious with that).
Also, I disagree with the comment that Roger Waters is a great bass player. He really isn't. He is a great song writer and lyricist, but his bass playing is average, especially when compared to others on this list.

My favorite is Waters because he is an excellent bass player and is a good vocalist. Not singer. He doesn't have a beautiful voice but he uses emotion.
