Quite amazing that it isn't until track 6 where a song wasn't released as a single or had a promotional video.
A testament to the album's popularity and connection with the pop music of its day.
One of the first records I bought when I was very young. I grew up on 80's Genesis and loved what they were doing at this time. I didn't realize until later that
the guy who sang "Sledgehammer" was once in this band. The Gabriel years are good too, but I prefer the Collins era from
Trick of the Tail onwards.
Hard for me to decide. Some tracks I love more than others. I love the pop craftsmanship of the
title track and
Anything She Does, but also the darker material like
Tonight, Tonight, Tonight and
In the Glow of the Night. I settled on
Throwing It All Away, a song I did not like at first listen, but one I grew to love and is a favorite.
