I'll keep this short. 

I just discovered this band on YouTube, and damn, they are amazing. Everything I've been looking for in a prog-metal instrumental band (and, coincidentally, not on this site). Totally amazing.

This is true, Tosin Abasi is a godly guitarist. I love the debut release.

Strangely... If you look them up on wikipedia, and look at the history. 2 days after this thread, a change was made saying, "In recent years, progressive metal enthusiasts have considered Tosin Abasi to be one of the greatest guitarists of all time"

The Animals as Leaders album is phenomenal. It's not just a technical fest (though it is that). It's real music with energy. I listen to it while working out, listen when I want to hear phenomenal guitar. It's not just Tosin. Bulb also help write the album, another modern day djent phenom.

Some people say DT is a w**kfest. They have never listened to thins band, that's for sure.
