I'm listening to Magenta's Christina Booth's debut: Broken Lives and Bleeding Hearts.
even if it has some pop tendencies I think she deserves a place on PA.

The album is too recent to find samples on youtube.
I stand with Roger Waters, I stand with Joan Baez, I stand with Victor Jara, I stand with Woody Guthrie. Music is revolution

As a man opened to various kinds of "new" Prog, I was thinking about her. Maybe, but it would be tough call.
There's a point where "avant-garde" and "experimental" becomes "terrible" and "pointless,"

I heard Christina on Youtube:

and

No matter how fan I'm of Magenta and of her wonderful voice, her music is pure POP, good POP but in no way even related to Progressive Rock.

Common Iván, you know that some of us have different point of view, so for some of us, so opinions differs.

Anyway, I'm afraid I have to agree with you on this one. She's probably not even related to Prog.

(and I'm also fan of her voice)

Those two samples are too few, IMO. Listening to the whole album it left me with the impression of pop-oriented but prog, in particular the last track.
I know that late Renaissance were quite poor. I think I've given them my lowest ratings, but this album is surely better than Camera Camera.

I suggest waiting for more samples to be available.

I'll give it a listen right now. Let's see (hear). And remember Octopus that we can stretch a little bit, but not too much, otherwise we're bending the rules to fit our demands. And that's something we don't want.

I'm not saying that she MUST be on PA. I think so but I can easily be wrong.

Yep, no offense intended, just saying what you (maybe) didn't know.

Nah, after recent listening, I don't think that she has any relation to Prog. The last song on the album have some elements, but not much.

I am disappointed that the great ex Magenta singer could be so pop and shunning the prog style almost completely. There is nothing remotely prog in her music now and it is despairing that she chose to go this way....

Well, I heard this "famous" song by Trippa and it's almost unlistenable for me.

In interviews at the time of release, she said that she had deliberately explored other musical areas and genres of interest to her, outside of her "day job" with Magenta. She wouldn't describe the album as even prog related herself. It was never meant to be.

That makes sense as it is at polar opposites with Magenta

Of course, if you sing in a prog band and then make a solo album, why would you make it a prog album again? You may as well carry on with your day job.
