Not sure where to put these four guys from Alsace, France who released two albums in the late 70s.
Perhaps in Symphonic?

Links:
You can stream both albums there up to three times.

Philippe Wendling - synthesizer, electric piano, organ
Bernard Labroche - electric guitar
Gigi Untersinger - bass
Gianni Drago – drums

The sampling is only allowed to those with account on that website, and there seems to be nothing on YouTube either. But full sampling without registration required can be done here: http://www.musicme.com/Wlud/

The first album, which I'm listening now, sounds more like Art Rock with influences from Jazz/Fusion, Symphonic prog, early organ-lead prog, mid-70s Pink Floyd and classical-oriented prog like Ekseption and Focus. I'll ask the Eclectic Prog team for their opinion.

Please can a collaborator evaluate this band? It's acrime they are not in the database.

A small bio I prepared:

''Short-lived French prog band, found in 1978 in the beautiful city of Colmar near the French-German borders. They consisted of Phillipe Wendling on keys,Bernard Labroche on guitars,Gigi Untersinger on bass and Gianni Drago on drums, reportedly they were all highly educated musicians.Actually the name of the band comes from the initial letters of the members' surnames.Wlud only managed to produce two albums in a short time,''Carrycroch'' and ''Second'',but both are good examples of old-fashioned instrumental prog with plenty of jazzy and symphonic twists.

Recommended to all fans of 70's melodic instrumental progressive rock.''

The eclectic team is in the middle of some reorganization, so give a little more time for the team to evaluate the band.

I had no idea they were not in PA, yet!!!!!!!!!!

Not that I liked their music the first time I heard them in the mid-90's... from whatever I remeber from 17 years ago, I'm not sure about symphonic, but I could be wrong

Tons of artists out on Musea still not in the database. WLUD one of many examples. I'm uncovering them one by one,. as the genre teams can testify to ;-)

WLUD has been approved by the Eclectic Team.  Thank you for your patience.

If anyone would like to assist with a biography (I see we already have one in this thread) or the addition, that would be appreciated.
