The nod goes to my favorite Crimso album - Islands.  H is a great record, but there are at least three VgG albums that I prefer over it. 
I like to feel the suspense when you're certain you know I am there.....

H to He Who am the Only One, no doubt. Islands  is an interesting album, though!

 I'd choose KC over VDGG  any day....unless one is using Beat and TOAPP to compare.

And I Still think Hammill's vocals ruin some of their best tracks.

H to He. It would be interesting to compare Islands with Steven Wilson's "Grace for Drowning"... I feel Wilson's album continues what Fripp was doing before he changed his formula all over again.

Islands for me.
I'm not sure why so many people like H to He. I really like VDG, but I think H to He is one of their weakest albums. I made the mistake of listening to that album first, and it was years before I came back to VDG. Now they are one of my favorite bands, though.
