Any fans of Protest The Hero? I know you older guys might not think so. But PTH is actually good. You can't doubt it. I mean seriously. This is the future of Prog right here.

Everyone has photographic memory; some just don't have the film.

I love Protest the Hero, Scurrilous is one of the stronger albums out this year, and there's been quite a few strong albums. Kezia's still their best album though.

I wouldnt call them the future of prog though, as far as the metalcore side of prog metal goes Between the Buried and Me seems to be having the bigger influence.

Who cares? Its just some radnom opinion. As you can see its a thread full of most of the guys that have no experience in even listening to Protest the Hero. Which is a good band. Then they start praising some random boring rock band with a monosyllabic name from the 70s. At least Protest The Hero has never made a nything as low as Tales from topographic Oceans.

You say "who cares?" and yet you get flustered when people don't like a band..

I don't like PTH, not my kind of music.

edit: if you are going to change your wording from sh*tty to boring, might as well fix the typos.

PtH is one of my favorite bands, but I fully disapprove of this thread.

Protest the hero is pretty cool, but I find there is to much Rody Walker. I mean I like his vocals, but they can never find time for an instrumental break nawmean?
I'm so mad that you enjoy a certain combination of noises that I don't

Just a smidget extreme for me, but I think you are right, this is where we're headed. I like something more like Labrie's Static Impulse meets Darkwater. Are you into that? Do you know of anything like that? Looking for prog metaller networking! \,,/ Thanks!!

Now..is the time

I like Scurillous, it's very retro, reminds me so much of the 80s screamers :) But, obviously they play a lot(!) better - blame Canada, eh.
