Here's the info we have so far: http://www.killyourstereo.com/news/10808/animals-as-leaders-finalising-new-album-and-dvd/
Crossing my fingers that it'll be as much a masterpiece as the 1st record.

Cool.

I thought I read news that the main man of AAL was going to collaborate with a few other people to make a record. Not to hijack the thread, but is there any news on this? (Or is this this?)

Absolutely amazing stuff. This album is gonna rule.

NOTE: Amazon took down the samples for the time being. Hopefully they'll come back up soon.

^That's really weird. It worked last night. Try this one.

And if this one still doesn't work, just search for Weightless on the UK version of Amazon under MP3 downloads.

Yes, the project is called TRAM and the band played at SXSW (south by southwest). Must more jazz fusiony, little metal, a little math rocky. Wind player (whose main instrument is sax) and the drummer once played with Suicidal Tendencies I believe. Should have an album this year. They have some sample trax already.
You are quite a fine person, and I am very fond of you. But you are only quite a little fellow, in a wide world, after all.

^Yeah. Can't wait for that one either. The album's called Lingua Franca and they already put out the song Endeavor a few months ago. I haven't heard anything else about it since then.

I've said elsewhere I find the lack of new information about the TRAM album a bit troubling.  Hopefully we get it soon, I am highly anticipating it as well as this new AAL.

I'm wondering whether they've gotten alot of pushback because it's so not-metal. I liked what I heard, but it's not the kind of stuff most non-musician AaL fans are going to go for. I remember on the Facebook thread when the single was released, I was one of the few people saying "This sounds interesting." Most were WTF is this?
