OK, this poll has been closed. This three albums are advancing to Semi-Final round:

"Fear Of A Blank Planet" by Porcupine Tree
"Doomsday Afternoon" by Phideaux
"Ziltoid the Omniscient" by Devin Townsend

Second and third advancing, due to multiple tie, were determined according to PA reviews.

Thanks for your votes!

Well since I'm  the only one to vote 2nd Hands, it's not going anywhere.
Released date are often when it it impacted you but recorded dates are when it really happened...

Thirteenth Star was indeed a fantastic one.  I think "Dark Star" could totally be a James Bond theme song.

A great year for prog, isn't it?

I'm voting for Morse's Sola Scriptura, but I know Fear of a Blank Planet will win this anyway, although I don't think it's better than Morse's, TFK's and Magic Pie's albums.

Another toughy, but I'm giving the edge to Fear of a Blank Planet, which for me is just ahead of Frames.

What a great year 2007! Clap
I look up, I'm almost blinded

by the warmth of what's inside me

and the taste that's in my soul,

but I'm dead inside as I stand alone...

Very, very tough one for me but I went with Empires Never Last. I could easily have went with TFKs, Porcupine Tree, Gazpacho or Phideaux. I find that I listen to the Galahad album more than the others. Great, tougher sound musically and fantastic singing from Stu Nicholson!
A GREAT YEAR FOR PROG!!!
