He's been going with that look since the video for "Lotus Flower." Kinda like a carnival barker or something. Perhaps it's kind of an alter-ego, The King of Limbs. You'd have to see the video to see what I mean - all flailing arms and spastic, twitching movements. A bit of Chaplin's tramp as well, maybe...
