CREDO PRESS RELEASE 23 APRIL 2012

CREDO are sad to announce that Martin Meads our great drummer and friend has left CREDO with immediate effect.  Martin has been with the band since May 1998 and has been a major part of the CREDO story.

Martin is an amazingly talented drummer, and this is recognised by a number of other bands that Martin plays with, which ultimately has meant he is unable to fulfil the levels of commitment that we all agree CREDO needs in the coming months and years.  2011 was an amazing year in the world of CREDO, with the success of AGAINST REASON and headline tours in the UK & Europe.

Martin is a great guy, an amazing drummer and a colleague we are all proud to have played with, and it goes without saying, we wish him all the best for the future.

Jim Murdoch, Mark Colton, Mike Varty & Tim Birrell

Sad news, but the really nice press release puts me in mind of Nick Mason's old comment..."Now, Genesis, that's the way to split up".

A really nice send off for their friend which does a really good band a great deal of credit.
