Progressive metal band Redemption is preparing to film its second live DVD at the Progpower festival in Atlanta, GA in September, 2012.

Los Angeles-based progressive metal band Redemption is performing a headlining set at this years ProgPower festival in Atlanta, the leading US festival for progressive and power metal.

We last did a DVD in 2007 -- we've had two new CDs and a whole lot of great ideas since than, and want to film this upcoming performance and release a new DVD with the help of our amazing fans and the Kickstarter community.

We're going to put together a great 5-camera hi-definition shoot, with our own lighting guy with a great lighting show and some great ideas for our stage dressing. We'll be performing some of our best-known songs from older CDs, plus some never-before-heard material, plus songs from our two more recent CDs, Snowfall on Judgment Day and This Mortal Coil that were not released at the time of our last DVD.

Our last DVD -- one clip of which is featured above -- was pretty darn cool. But we've got some really unique things planned for this new shoot including the performance of a song that will only be performed once for as long as the band exists!

Be a part of this DVD project by contributing today -- thanks for your interest and support!

Also "The base budget here covers a regular DVD. There's not alot of money in Blu Ray relative to its additional cost but if we generate significantly more than our initial target (which only covers some of the DVD production), I promise I will strongly consider a blu ray or high-def download option.

A little over 2 weeks left for this project so hurry and click this link if you are interested in funding this project! Thumbs Up
(I'm hoping there is enough funding for a Blu-ray in the end. THAT would be amazingSmile)

Would say though that most of the charities involved with perhaps the London Marathon do raise a lot from the runners who are sponsored in aid of that charity. Imagine 35,000 people, each raising £1000 (which is about the level asked for in the London Marathon) - that would raise £3,500,000 for good causes from one event. Not all runners will run for a charity in that marathon but it gives you an idea that there is a lot of money able to be raised from one event.

The idea was successful. before long Slackers distended to the St. Joseph Louis Barrow market (view locations) and has continued  to grow and open new locations throughout the geographic area.

In addition to carrying the most recent music, flick and game releases, each new and used, Slackers carries a large array of catalog titles in CDs and DVDs, further as VHS tapes, classic games and classic game systems, t-shirts, posters, Magic cards, vinyl, stickers, board games, commercialism cards and far, much more. what quantity more? simply browse around for yourself and you will determine.
