I love all these Colosseum records, and each is groundbreaking in it's own way, but my all time fave is Colosseum Live. It really delivers-incredibly. Wish i could have seen the band live back then!

Valentyne Suite for me - starts off fantastically with "The Kettle" and "Elegy", probably my 2 favorite songs of theirs.  And the suite itself is pretty great too.

Voted for Morituri Te Salutant on the understanding that it is for the American version of the album which comprised -
The Kettle,
Plenty Hard Luck,
Debut,
the title track,
The Valentine Suite
Walking in the Park.

This version of the Valentine Suite is the definitive version which has Beware the Ides of March as the third movement. Bliss.

I like all of them, but The Valentyne Suite is my favourite.

Another Valentyne vote

I saw them live about 2005 although Barbara Thompson had taken over from Dick Heckstall- Smith at that point. Easily one of the best gigs I've ever had the pleasure to attend.

Really great this has done before, I was just wondering is there any love to Colosseum here! To me Colosseum and specially Valentyne Suite (that I voted) is very important because it´s one of my first prog albums. My brother accidently has it, although really not get into it in first listen (I was then maybe 9 years old) I found the greatness of it and also prog music few years later. Hope there comes more votes because those all albums are just great!

Colosseum Live is one of the best live albums ever. I put it in the same legacy of Deep Purple’s Made in Japan and Renaissance’s Luve at Carnegie Hall

enjoy them all... Hiseman is a f**king god.... but even though I hate to run with pack.. for most of the time the pack are merely of sheep or parrots... this time they nailed it.  Valentyne Suite for the poll win... pure masterliness. Start to finish...
