Hey everyone! I'm hoping everyone is having a great weekend. I'm looking for new albums to review on my blog, and noticed that I've been writing a lot about Australian prog rock bands. I really dig the bands Karnivool, Caligula's Horse, Hibernal, Full Code, Anubis and more. How many here are fans of Aussie prog rock? Does anyone have other suggestions to list in my blog?

For a taste of something new from the Aussies, I'd strongly recommend Pond. These guys are just about as retro as you can get.....but it works for them.

I have no idea why everyone says Pond is retro. They're not. They pull together every last facet of neo-psych, rather than any classic psych. And the result is stellar.
