Would you listen to an entire album/track on YouTube?

As has been previously said, it is a good way to sample an unknown work to see if you like it enough to buy it. I do it quite often myself and have found many good things that way.

YouTube is for trying out new artists for me. If I'm not interested after two listening a on YouTube, I'm not going to purchase it.

That said, I've been listening to ELO's Showdown quite often on YouTube lately. It's still good for singles.
More heavy prog, please!

I've heard most of Van Der Graaf Generator's stuff, most of the Nice's stuff, John Du Cann's Andromeda, Evans-era Deep Purple, Love's Four Sail, Heavy and Ball by Iron Butterfly, Shazam by The Move ad Journey by Arthur Brown's Kingdom Come on Youtube before buying them. I also have a bunch of used cassettes and vinyls to listen to.

Yes' Union.  I wouldn't spend a single cent on it but some of the live stuff is kind of fun to listen to.
