This is literally the best Opeth album they never done, suits your description 100% -

From other bands mentioned Agalloch might be the closest, but I'd throw My Dying Bride as well, especially later work:

The World is Quiet Here and Gojira are ones that tend to fall into a similar sphere with Opeth as my top three favorites of tech/death metal. There's some interplay of harsh/melodic vocals that should be up your alley, and some of the desolation that Opeth channels is there in both. The World is Quiet Here offers more madness and Gojira offers more technical heaviness, but both of these are incredibly powerful and well worth a listen - hopefully multiple ones!

You'll want to check out Orphaned Land, Baroness (The Red Album), Agalloch, Ulver (the first 3 albums).  If you like some avant prog in your heavy music then check out Sleepytime Gorilla Museum.

While I'm personally not too much of a fan of them, Ne Obliviscaris very closely resembles the core sound of Opeth, albeit a bit more proggy in nature, and containing a violin. Portal Of I is generally considered their best album.

Hi all, I am a prog metal fan not rock i like brutal and clean vocals (as long as the dont get like crying pop singers)

favourite bands are Opeth (until Ghost Reveries) , Katatonia, Porcupine Tree, Nevermore, Some Karnivool (except the singer)

other genre favorite bands are Lamb of God, Meshuggah, Old Dimmu Borgir. Any ideas? Cheers!Wink
