Like in Mei at some point, the main singer really sounds like U2's and the soundscape too. Just listen to it at 8:45 minutes you'll see what I mean if you know U2 a bit

you are asking the wrong question in your original post. Does Echolyn sound like U2? No. Are Echolyn influenced by U2? I don't know, possibly. Dream Theater did a song in 2005 called I Walk Beside You and everyone said it sounds like a U2 song. I agree. Now does DT sound like U2 because of that? The answer is still no.
