desert island prog

Does anyone here know more about a set of CD called "desert Island
prog"? I found them lately in a prog newsgroup. Is this a legal project
or just some happy proglovers sharing their favourite music? 

The cd's are compilations of old and new groups, from beautifull old
songs like Spirits  "girl in your eye"  to rather new
Radiohead songs. Together it are more than 300 songs, ripped from the
original cd's (with original id-tags) and in very good quality.
