I've been searching for months for a new band to dig into. I'm still struggling to find more bands within this really (cheesy) niche. Any help would be much apprecaited. I've spend many hours searching all over.

The sound:
- 80s/90s Production style
- Keyboards (but not so much hammond)
- Big Vocals / Higher range / vocal runs
- Sometimes commercial leaning sound / hooks
- Melancholy / epic atmoshpere / melodic
- Proggy at its core

Examples:
- Enchant - A Blue Print of the World / Break / Time Lost
- Dream Theater - Images and Words
- Marillion - Holidays in Eden / Clutching at Straws / Season End
- Fates Warning - Inside Out
- Rush - Power Windows
- The Wishing Tree - Carinval of Souls
- Symphony X (Just the song the Accolade)
- Iona - Iona

What I've tried and not really worked:
- IQ
- Pendragon
- Pallas
- Twelfth Night
- Arena
- RPWL
- Knight Area
- Big Big Train
- Frost
- Saga
- Kansas
- Everon
etc

A playlist that might better describe it that I've made:
https://open.spotify.com/playlist/6UODUllb4HmLU9DKmY6tK4?si=f77cf6ad0cc94af6

Any bands you know of would be much appreciated!

Thanks

Deyss - At King might fit your criteria.

Listening now. I'm enjoying Chinese Dawn from that album, saved. The other tracks my parter really enjoyed (the medieval pomp), but where a little too whimsical for me at times. Loads of Yes/Marillion crossover. I appreciate your recommendation.
