^ I enjoyed listening to this album very much, and it does indeed sound like a good fit for Heavy Prog. The leader of that team monitors this thread regularly, so the band should be taken forward for evaluation very soon.

I added the band to Awesome Prog, but took the album's release date from the Astronomy Recording Music Bandcamp page (1st August 2025), whereas it was released on on other platforms on 2nd November 2024. I've asked Mike at AP to correct the date, via the feedback link on the album's page there.

Edit: Mike has already fixed the release date on AP!

Hi friends! I'd like to propose a new band for the database. It's Coché Vil Band, whose last year's album features collaborations with artists like Marco Minnemann and Derek Sherinian. I'm pretty sure it belongs in the "Heavy Prog" section. I hope you like it. Below are the band's details and latest album:

Artist Name: Coché Vil Band
Album Name: CHAOS (2024)

- Coché Vil Band:
Coché Vil
Sebas Mato
Leonel Silva
Brian Petry

With:
Marco Minnemann
Danny Cavanagh
Derek Sherinian

Biography (written by the artist himself):

In my first band we mixed rock with psychedelic under the name of Biosbardos.
I have also composed the OSTs for some films like ‘León y Olvido’ and ‘Rafael’ by Xavier Bermúdez (Xamalú Films). I have collaborated in different bands such as Lap a Rush or Miguel Costas (former Siniestro Total).

Currently I’m still inmersed in my own progressive rock project after releasing the album ‘Invincible’ (Luminol Records) with Fernando Jaramillo on drums and the singer Leonel Silva. Shortly, my next album’s preview will also be realised.

At the same time, I’m also working on a revisited version of my first album ‘ai’dias’ (2016), after having just published ‘Caña al Momo’, with the collaboration of the well-known keyboard player Derek Sherinian (Dream Theater, Black Country Communion, etc.), as well as a new single named ‘Within You’ together with Danny Cavanagh (Anathema) a progressive song entitled «Intro Mission» together with the recognised drummer Marco Minnemann. (Coché Villanueva, 2024)
