I hope it's better than Brainville's The Children's Crusade which is, in a word, horrible.  Maybe 10 minutes on the entire album was decent, and the rest was stinky.

I've ordered albums from GAS myself through eBay.  Great service!!!   That album definitely looks worth checking out.  By the way, what was the date of the concert?

I think it was 1998 - I remember hearing about the concerts, but never saw them . Heaing this CD makes me regret that even more, but it was a very short lived outfit, more's the pity.

Daevid Allen, Pip Pyle, and Hugh Hopper together in a Gong lineup would definitely have been amazing to see live.

Just got this in the post from GAS:

50 minutes of jazz/Canterbury/Planet GonG fusion madness, including a fine version of Hope for Happiness. The sound quality is pretty good, and the album was mixed by Hugh Hopper. It's one of a limited edition of 1000 - there are going to be 20 of these in all, 10 have been released so far and if this is indicative of the standard they should all be worth checking out.

It came to just over 12 pounds inclusive of p&p, which is a sight better than 15.99 that HMV are charging. It was my first order from GAS, and I'm extremely impressed by the prices and the service.
