Listen to yourself. Effects were only a part of what made Hendrix's
style so innovative. But Hendrix is not the most influential rock
guitarist of all time just because he simpily made noise. I mean, if
Hendrix influenced inspired Malmsteen, Vai, Satriani, and millions of
other people to pick up guitar, and earned respect from his peers,
including Blackmore, Clapton, Page, and SRV, you'd think there has to be
more to it than his ability to simpily create random noises. Come on,
use some common sense here.
