I agree with both of you but partially... Rap scene is flourishing, however not everywhere.. Garage, indie pop are broadly available. I think there is a border between vapid pop and creativity. Writing good popular songs needs more skill, than writing bad prog songs. |
I agree with your last affirmation!

I think POP music is transitory, the 90`s pop music (spice girls, backtreets boys, etc.) is quite dead and now the "cool stuff" is that awful thing call rap, hip-hop, blah blah blah.
I think if i have a gun and Eminem, 50 cent just in front of me maybe....you`ll know the end.
WHAT A LOSER!!!!!!

THERE`S TO MUCH MUSIC AND SO LITTLE TIME TO LISTEN TO IT

Real R&B and rap are absolutely nothing alike.
|
They "could" be nothing alike....but however today on MTV they're the same!!!
|
That stuff isn't R&B.
Listen to some Marvin Gaye...that's REAL R&B.
|
I know that stuff on Mtv is not true R&B...but what i mean is that today Rap and R&B are treated the same by media....I don't say it's fair...I say it's so!

What a terrible topic.
With all the death and suffering going on in this world you want to think of ways to kill a performer just because you don't like their form of music??
THAT is disturbing.

I'd imagine that if you were to murder 2 pop stars, you'd serve a futile life sentence, because another 4 would rear their ugly little green snouts...
