The most enigmatic record for me

Hi all! I'm a new member, don't know it is right place to tell you my story. Five years ago someone gave me a Cd-record.There is no even one word on it, but music is fantastic - pure early art/progressive rock with some elements of psychodelia. I know all this famous prog. groups of seventies. Even if I heard something new for me, some friend allways help me to discover "what it is". That time it was imposible. For five years I hear great music, don't know what is it.

About music: Very good known sounds - Organ sounds like JON LORD, sometimes reminds me ROD ARGENT; Chorns - (2 sax's?) sounds like COLOSSEUM (some harmonies are similar to "Valentine Suite") or even CHASE; Flute - betwen IAN ANDERSON and IAN MCDONALD ("In the Court of Crimson...") but sudenly the lead instrument become Mouth Harmonica. Incredible! To all of this Guitar & Acoustic Guitar and Vocals from late 60-s. In vocal some choirs sounds to me like MOODY BLUES or CROSBY,STILS & NASH. But the most characteristic things is in two words "Colosseum I + harmonica".

As you see english is not my language so I can't say something about lyrics (maybe one track is titled "What Is Love", but I'm not sure). All this month I trying to find any information to help me to know this enigma. Maybe You know something about  helpful site or forum, where people dicovered "enigma albums"? Maybe You got any idea what is a name of the group ?

Uli John Roth - Electric Sun?

Sorry gents but the brass and woodwind plus the reference to Chase,  suggest early brass rock, although the harp -  have people stopped using this term for the harmonica???????? -  eliminates bands like If and Chicago. So I suggest the first Blood Sweat Tears album, The Child Is Father To The Man (or some such convoluted 60's title).  A second and even longer shot: John Mayall and the Bluesbreaker's Bare Wires- which has the organ, harp and brass woodwind backing

Outside heavy rock, blues and Chicago style R'n'B recordings plus certain 3 minute single hits (e.g. that song on sexual pleasures: My Boy Lollipop), the harp isn't that common as a lead instrument. I have to think hard for examples: Country Joe and the Fish's Section 43. the opening track on Steve Miller's Sailor, Toots Thielmann playing on some of Jaco Pastorius's solo albums.......... I've run out of ideas.

Thanks all for interest. I think it is any of well known bands (maybe it's even some "one record wonder" from Finland or Hungry,I trying to check it). I know Chicago, Mahavishnu or Blood... But by turns: It is less experimental then Mahavishnu; BS&T - in songs of "band X" I don't hear any blues or r'n'b influences. Chicago - only harmony vocals and ending of one song (perc. cogas instruments like in "I'm a Man") reminds me this band. Uli John Roth - to bluesy, to "guitar" and to "hardsang" for it. Guitar on "my record" is most often in second plan and acoustic. Few tracks as seen without guit. (as in early Rare Bird). Harmonicas solos are only in 2 or 3 songs. The foreground is solos of Hammond organ (by the way there is no mellotrons or moogs- nothing called "electonica") and flute (maybe flutes, sometimes very jazzy, sometimes it's in Focus style). And almost in all tracks the melodic line and mean theme is exhibited by sax (Dick H-Smith style). Sweet Smoke is nearly,nearly (when I saw peronel and titles I was very happy) and vocal harmonies are in the same style, but it's another band. Similar sound to band "X" I hear in songs of Baberuth and Wetton's Mogul Thrash, but style people called Canterbury Scene got blues roots and is more ambitious in music and lyrics( I'think). On the end of my "elaborat" a piece of lyrics ( if I understand it):

"For? the morning sun rises like the firewall: Sunrise warm up the wings of my little Eve?; Now she wants to tell everybody how to feel free, but nobody listening as you saw?" All lyrics are in that style (hippie or christian). "Come on, join together" etc. etc. Maybe somebody recognized it. Thanks to all. Wish You Good Music
