Because he's too awesome to get dressed in the morning! Besides, the only clothes he needs are his bass guitars What is it with Bass players? Like Geddy and his silky white bathrobe from the 70s

I thought he was on record for throwing his copy of Union out of his car window.
Can't say I blame him given what happened to Angkor Wat.

If you are a Yes fan, go ahead and listen to Union. It's bad, but not as bad as it's reputation, and a few parts of it are quite good. |
I'd second that, but look at Wakeman's expression. He's on the record of having, and I may be putting it mildly, disliking the album/sessions. Another interesting personal note. I saw Anderson on the Animation tour (at the long defunct Moonshadow Saloon in Atlanta). He had that Olias of Sunhillow hanging thingy with him then, but the stage was kind of small, without a lot of headroom. He hit it with his acoustic guitar by accident at least once while taking the guitar off during the show.

If that's how you feel, you might actually LIKE it. Most of the Yes West output on there is some of the best stuff they did. The ABWH stuff is lacking, but it has it's moments. But the best part is undoubtedly Howe's solo piece. |
Well... I might just have to go give it a try.
BUT I'm blaming YOU if I don't like it
But hey... maybe it'll give me the chance to give more 1 star reviews
there ain't many album that I can give that with good conscience.
PS - I just caught my girlfriend dancing to Yes's Lightning Strikes AND
Finally. (this is a bad sign... because I can't like a danceable album!
It's not the prog way!) *again*

I can never freaking find it anywhere... but does anyone know if the compilation disc (Re)Union is just union with a non-Roger Dean Cover? Because I keep finding those everywhere. The track listing would suggest that it is. Yeah, I've always been curious about it. Big Yes fan and I've always loved ABHW and Shoot High Aim Low so maybe the combination wouldn't be as bad as people make it out to be. But I've got to laugh in spite pf myself here; because there's no doubt that someone is reading this thread and thinking that I'm a moron for actually wanting to go out and buy the record.

Good lord.
How many YesMen does it take to fill up a stage?
Many too many apparently.
But that would have been pure awesome to see live.

Me too i was in the upper rows of the arena and didn't see the players that close, but the music was good and i am not a UNION basher.
