Suggested many times, but right now, I was able to conceive something new:

In these fields, where you have min/max ratings, year, genre and country selection, what about to just add field UNREVIEWED ALBUMS that would have default 0. If you want to have unreviewed albums in your charts, you'll just type "1" here and there you go.

Now, how to process these albums. I have two choices in my mind:

1)These unrev ones will be featured on the bottom of current list, sorted by alphabet.

2)There will be separate list, for example for 2009 rated albums and if you select this field, you'll get separate list with unreviewed albums only.

There's a point where "avant-garde" and "experimental" becomes "terrible" and "pointless,"

Marty,

Please correct me if I'm wrong... At present if I want to find unreviewed albums, the best way is to go to Site Rules & Guidelines -> Reviews Guidelines -> link to unreviewed albums. Now, there must be thousands of albums listed here. The list only provides the Artist, Album Title, Year of Release. No country of origin, no sub-genre. So, this list is of very limited use. I'm keen to help with reviewing these albums (rating or no rating!!), therefore any system that would enable a more refined search would be most welcome. Is your system a possibility?

Oh my Prog, there is about 9540 unreviewed albums, if I counted them well, it should be correct. It was easy, I've counted the number of lines per one my browser page (43), then I clicked on right side of browser window (this slider) and counted about 222 (or 232) pages. Multiplied by 43 = this number.

However, as I said, many of them are just singles. I wish I knew how many Singles we have in this list.

My system seems good to me (after all, I've proposed it), but if it will be implemented, it's hard to tell. At least we have a proposal :-)

I'm also keen on reviewing these uncharted lands of albums with just rating, or no rating at all.

I think that better with a review and no rating.

Alberto,

Many, many of these unreviewed albums have already been rated. Ok so you won't get the ''First Review of this Album'' message, which is a little bit of a disappointment on a personal level. However, it will still be the first review of the album... that's the main thing for the site.
