I absolutely love "Incommunicado", while I won't try to perpetrate that it's an amazing prog masterpiece of blistering musicianship and high technicality...it's still my favorite.

Other - Three Boats Down From The Candy.
I was a big fan well before they released Script. TBDFTC was the first song I heard by them, I think on their initial BBC Friday Rock Show session. I was absolutely and totally blown away. For that reason it's my nostalgic choice.

I choose Blinde Curve...too epic: guitar and keyboard perfectly balanced. Rothery reach a so high emotional level never seen before by other band from the past

I believe that objectively, the best song they ever recorded (in general) in Grendel. It's a true epic! But.... I voted for 'Script' for many personal reasons.. Also, how is it possible to vote for only one song? Maybe you should let us vote for at least 3. It could be more fun I believe... anyway...

Script for a jesters tear, although anything off that album is pretty sublime. That album meant a lot to me at the time..
Subsequent efforts were relatively weak imo, even though as musicians they were clearly maturing. That said, Kayeligh, Incubus and Incommunicado are all excellent songs.

Script for me. It's got something very special and emotional (well, there's lot's of special and emotional songs from them, at least with Fish... I'm still needing to know more of the H era... but Sounds that can't be Made was a really beautiful album too). The Kayleigh would be very close, but for me it must go along with Pseudo Silk Kimono, otherwise it's just missing a very emotional introduction (and PSK by itself sounds just incomplete).

It says: "You have already voted in this poll!" It seems I have already voted, without writing here what, so I have forgotten what I have voted I think it was 'Script', but it might be also Grendel or The Web. Btw, the first song I heard from Marillion was 'The Web', in Italy in the early 80's I was on holiday there with my parents, and it was played there on an Italian Radio... When I was back in Germany I tried to find out anything about them!

Script leading sounds strange to me. For me it's a partially failed attempt to a suite in Genesis style with some weak parts. On the same album there's Forgotten SOns, instead. The live version on Real to Reel is for me the best Marillion thing ever.
