There are some other minor things that I think might sound a bit like them, or at least are rather trippy in their own way.

I have not given Wallenstein a good listen, but they came from the kosmik music scene. For something a bit more on hte folk side of things, the siter bands Cherubin and Tanned Lather had some nice things.

Message was a Nektar clone, and I have to admit that this one did not stant out for me.

Scorpions' first two albums (Lonesome Crow and Fly to the Rainbow) should be on all progressive minded German miinds and lists. Lonesome Crow, I did not think was that good, but the 2nd album is excellent and has Scorpions retort to Amon Duul 2's Apocalyptic Bore, with a massive guitar duet in the title song, after an excellent setup.

I have to look around some more ....

In 1972 Camel and Wishbone Ash toured the Southern United States together. I can;t see why they would have been patched this way....maybe they were a like in sound and style? I can hear Wishbone Ash performing "The White Rider" and Camel performing "The King Will Come". So that's what you go for....Argus by Wishbone Ash. Warning! there will be a Blues song from each of their early titles. You can't pin point every musical aspect about them and categorize a term. The Irish Folk harmony guitar leads are electrified and are not in a classification of hard rock or blues so, the band gets pegged as a regular middle of the road 70's Rock band.
You are also pulling 2 bands for an example that derive from the old Krautrock era and that within itself is a task and a half. All of the Krautrock bands differed from each other which may be beside the point but, also to track someone who had the flow of Jane or Grobschnit, you might have to investigate some French bands and that means ajusting to the style of prog rock lyrics in French. Ange who were pegged as a French Genesis had sections of their music where basic chord progressions vamped while improv guitar leads blazed. Quite like Jane for that moment. It was also atmospheric like Jane. Goblin recorded instrumental pieces that were Camel sounding to me. Check into Roller By Goblin. Also, The theme for "Profondo Rosso" is quite like the composition style of Andrew Latimer.

If you enjoy the Space Rock jamming on Grobschnit's Solar Music Live, then you might want to check out Man's Back Into the Future. This is a band from Wales that incorporated the sound of Quick Silver Messenger Service into their style. You wouldn't always be able to detect that in their music. The European style of jamming was more evident with strange synth effects and oscillators. More in the style of Grobschnit mentality. An album titled Are You Sitting Comfortably and their debut title were in the vain of Space Rock and at times they were linked to the sound of Camel. Melodic harmony guitar leads combined with off beat style time signatures.

others : Ramses "La Leyla" or "Eternity Rise" (you may know them already)
Pell Mell - all but start with "Marburg" - you may also know them
Dice - the German cosmic rock group not the Swedish symph group - check my reviews - definitely a lot of Camel in there
Amenophis - s/t
Asia Minor - "Between Flesh and Divine"
Troya - Point of Eruption
Forever 12 - Remembrance Branch - Camelish with very good female vocalist

Try these - very psychedelic, but progressive too, and full of beautiful melodies:

I think you would like Anyone's Daughter (Germany), Osiris (Bahrain), Kerrs Pink (Norway), Mirage (France) or for some one-offs, how about Zomby Woof, Minotaurus, Madison Dyke, or Tibet (all from Germany)

Try Pavlov's Dog. Quite symphonic and with vocals that remind us of Geddy Lee to some
extent
.
