I'm still surprised to found so much love of Animals here ... to me it's very very boring album.

 Vice-versa for me Tongue

Animals is the only 5 star album of Pink Floyd for me (+WYWH maybe Disapprove)

This is the first one I won't vote in, those two albums are my two least favorite Pink Floyd albums.

I see Dark Side as a more well-planned and consistent album than Animals, although the second one is also great.

I understand where people are coming from when they call Animals boring, but I totally disagree. I find the spaciousness of that album completely fascinating, and a clear blueprint for post-rock along with Krautrock earlier in the decade. It's also their darkest, most ferocious album, lyrically and from a musical standpoint, which is also a big draw for me. Also, while "Comfortably Numb" will always be my favorite Floyd song, from an objective standpoint "Dogs" is their masterpiece.
