Absolutely Pendragon over Saga! The first few Saga albums are good, but with the exception of the debut album, most of the rest are AOR/rock/pop albums with slight proggy frillings here and there....which doesn't mean they're bad in any way (`Worlds Apart' is a great pop album), but not as interesting from a prog view (which, let's face it, is why we're here on the Forum!) But Pendragon have never delivered even a remotely bad album (and that includes the poppier/new-wave-flavoured `Kowtow', which is just a great rock/pop album), and while they've changed their sound over the years, they've always remained prog-rock and deliver very rewarding discs.

Actually, Tom, I noticed after I posted and went to vote that it said `you have already voted in this poll', so I wonder, without checking back over the previous three pages, if I already wrote something similar back when I obviously voted!

Saga for me.
From Pendragon, I only really enjoy "The Jewel", which is, BTW, a little... "Saga"-esque.

Can´t stand Saga, too AOR, too Soft Rock, i put them in the same category of Journey or Foreigner.
Easy vote for me, Pendragon by a country (russian Federation) mile

Two of my favortie bands. But Saga is the best band in the world, in my book (Queen and Saga). Difficult to compare both bands, but if I really have to choose, I'd choose Saga anytime of the day.

Saga is about two notches above awful, so Pendragon gets it.
