That That Is (ok, I'm rounding up)
Close To The Edge (ditto)
The Revealing Science of God
Echoes
Octavarium

Some of these have "segments" or "movements" like in a symphony, and those with pauses you've banned; otherwise, Karn Evil 9 would've made it, and "Lark's Tongues In Aspic", even if you have to cobble albums together to get it . . .

I couldn't mention a favourite as there are many however I would add 'Green Carnation' - 'Light of Day, Day of Darkness' clocking in at 60.06 and brilliant to match.

I think all of my five favorite 20+ minute compositions are by Mike Oldfield. I don't know if I want children or not, but I'm pretty sure I want his.

New 67 minute Edison's Children song Silhouette from their new album released today is by far one of the best things i've ever heard ... ever... and is getting buzzed about all over Facebook right now. 3 dozen threads going on that i've seen and that's just what i've noticed.

Mixed by John Mitchell (Arena / Frost) and Jakko (King Crimson / Steve Hackett)
features Pete Trewavas (Marillion / Transatlantic)
Eric Blackwood
Drums: Henry Rogers (DeeExpus/Touchstone - Prog Readers Poll - World's best drummer) *Beat Portnoy!

This sounds absolutely great. I will get this album. Love Edison's Children.
I bet I'll love it.

Oh and the entire album is 79 minutes long... 125 seconds shorter than all 4 sides of the wall

The album is not available in Canada yet. I'm getting it though. Sounds just great.
John Mitchell is on the album. He is one of my very favourite guitarists. :)

You should check Progbethyname. I know it is on iTunes now in America and Amazon. They said it was supposed to be live everywhere on Friday the 13th. If not ... check Bandcamp. They definitely have it. www.edisonschildren.com is shipping right now as well that's where i got mine from

Let's make Prog a family again. Tired of Snobbery and trolling. We all have a right to love what and who we love so lets respect and appreciate all who care about the finest music in the world... prog
