To celebrate my return to the site after four years of absence, I would like to suggest a band that I discovered some time ago on Progstreaming, and had the privilege to see on stage a few weeks ago at the NJ Proghouse Homecoming Weekend. Their name is Schooltree, and they are fronted by the very talented Lainey Schooltree - a singer/keyboardist/songwriter obviously influenced by Kate Bush and Tori Amos, but also by classic progressive rock. Their debut album, Rise (2013), is available for streaming on Bandcamp, which should make evaluation easier for the Crossover team: http://schooltree.bandcamp.com/" rel="nofollow - http://schooltree.bandcamp.com/ . They are currently working on their second album, which is going to be a rock opera, and the material we heard performed at the festival sounded very promising indeed. They definitely deserve a spot here!

I  think the new album will go over like a house on fire.  The crowd at their show reacted very VERY favorably to the new material. An album to watch out for down the road.
