Three American eclectic prog bands, whom all have very strong sounds, and influentual, also i like to make tough polls, so its in my nature, and Instinct to create challanging polls. I really like Yezda Urfa, they are so cool,..,

Oh holy sh*t........I have Boris, HTM debut LP, and many Spock's albums.......... This poll result requires a gun to my head to vote........... Now, I love what I hear from all 3 bands. In all honest truthfulness.......I will vote for Spock's, if only for the fact that there's much more stuff to enjoy from them, but, I do think highly of all three.

It's down to Boris vs Brief Nocturnes for me, and I guess I'll have to go with the Beard.

I haven't really given enough time to Yezda Urfa, I listened to them a few times back in the 90s and they were impressive but not an instant favorite. I like Spock's Beard when I'm in the right mood, and I really appreciated their approach when they first appeared on the scene - back when most bands seemed to be Neo-Prog, they put forth a new modern angle on the Symphonic Prog idea. I never thought they would go on this long or with this many albums (and I haven't heard at least half of them yet), but more power to them.
Happy the Man gets my vote because I consider them one of the more original bands of the 70s. They stood alone, and paid dearly for it.

Those that dig HTM, the recent album by Oblivion Sun - The High Places, is more than worthy of your time.

I'm a Beard guy myself. I like what I have heard from HTM and I agree that The High Places is a great album. I must check out Yezda Urfa.

Yezda Urfa are one of the most overlooked bands ever, an all-time top 10 prog act IMO.

I know one album from Yezda Urfa and Happy ze Man, and judged solely from those, I'd definitely say Yezda Urfa.
Funny thing is that I've probably listened to 5 times that in Spocks Beard albums. They didn't do anything for me though.

I have music by all 3 ......went with Spocks Beard only due to V which I believe is one of the great modern prog albums...and one of my favorites in my top 50 albums. But I am a fan of happy The Man and own all of their releases....never really got into the Yezda Urfa album.
