I really like this song from Silhouette’s latest album:
The combination of heavy rhythm guitars with the lead synth is very nice, but the reminder of this LP is somewhat mellow. I also gave a try to other Silhouette albums and so far nothing seems to sound quite like this.
I know of another band with a somewhat similar sound: Solaris, but little else. Any recommendations in this vein?

The first thing that sprung to mind for me was Spocks Beard and Enchant.

Fellow Dutch Knight Area, Brits Final Conflict, Deeexpus and Synaesthesia as well as Polish band State Urge come to mind . Check them out

Wow, this is extremely close to Knight Area's music, the first band to come to my mind when listening to this beauty.

BTW I reviewed Beyond the Seventh Wave a few days ago and LOVED it! It got a few poor reviews and a decent one from Angelo but I certainly found little wrong with it.
