Both album were released 30 years ago... Both are RIO masterpieces from bands which make history in prog rock music so, which one is your favorite?

Love both but have soft spot for Present having spent time with them socially.

Present, but not by a landslide.

I'm running still, I shall until, one day, I hope that I'll arrive
Warning: Listening to jazz excessively can cause a laxative effect.

First vote for Art Zoyd. It's love for AZ, not dislike for Present

I stand with Roger Waters, I stand with Joan Baez, I stand with Victor Jara, I stand with Woody Guthrie. Music is revolution

Great matchup here and i'm going to go with Art Zoyd's album which I consider to be a 5 star record versus Present's which I rate at 4 stars.

Tied it up. Zoyd defeats any other RIO artist.

Maybe, but at the time (1985) Present were not RIO artists (although Trigaux was a member of Univers Zero at the first RIO festival).

Present, Le Poison Qui Rend Fou.

When he rides, my fears subside.
For darkness turns once more to light.
Through the skies, his white horse flies.
To find a land beyond the night.

Present. Same, hardly a landslide. Not to take anything away from anyone but underline the imagination of 2 giants of RIO music.

Only heard Present, but that record's incredible. I'll listen to Art Zoyd though

Indeed
The poison is on the tableTongue

As for myself: I could go either way, but seeing as Art Zoyd is falling behind, I'll give them the edge. Great album with lots of interesting electronic infusions (although I slightly prefer Berlin) coupled together with the all-important Zoydness of the compositions.
