Hello progressive people from all over the world, glad to be a part of such a community, my name is Serj, i`m from Kyiv, Ukraine ) i`m musician, played a lot with different bands, but not prog ((( but, time got on my side, and now i`m in studio, with my own project, recording a debut album, and it will be prog influenced for sure )))
As to my fav prog bands, i would say i`m more in to 70s stuff, no surprise Rush is one of my top fav bands )))
but last few years i started exploring more and more bands from all over the world, so i opened for myself tons of great bands not only from england or us, but all over the europe, 70s were full of great extraordinary bands, the most creative time i guess. PFM, Czeslaw Niemen, Blue Effect, those bands has a great influence on me as musician, so do some modern bands as i listed them in my Top 5 bands like Porcupine Tree, Riverside, Anekdoten, huge range of great bands with great sounds )) Hope to have fun here, meet a lot of interesting people, musicians, new bands, artists, and maybe share some of my own )))
