So what television/ streaming service shows expected this year are you most looking forward to?

I haven't done much research, but (in no particular order, guess I should go by expected date):

- Stranger Things - series 2 (October 31)
- Inside No. 9 - series 3 (February 21)
- Twin Peaks - series 3 (May 21)
- Black Mirror - series 4 (air date unannounced, but may be October)
- American Gods (expected in April)
- Doctor Who - series 10 (April, 15 2017)
EDIT also - Broadchurch - series 3 (February 27)

Was hoping that Westworld's second season/series would happen late this year, but 2018 seems more likely, And Sherlock and Planet Earth 2 is already going on, and I plan to catch up on both shows. Also plan to catch up on Game of Thrones for this years series. And there's going to be a new Star Trek series called Star Trek: Discovery which has been expected this year.

Some trailers for most of my picks (apologies to this with issues with embeds):

This adaptation of American Gods looks quite tantalizing

Watching while most appreciating a sunset in the moment need not diminish all the glorious sunsets I have observed before. It can be much like that with music for me.

Twin Peaks is the only thing I'm highly anticipating at the moment and hell, I'm anticipating it greatly!!!!!!!!! Embarrassed

Classical music isn't dead, it's more alive than it's ever been. It's just not on MTV.

^ Those three should be strong. And Stranger Things season/series 2 is said to be darker and more mature than the first (I loved the first series).

Having kids, even though that Doctor Who trailer looks really cheesy, it's something fun for the family. I want it to be dark, though (a la Heaven Sent), and it looks like they are playing up the lighter comedic angles from that. And maybe I'm weird, heck I am, but I love Inside No. 9. As for the other only on my list, while I wasn't a big fan of the Netflix Black Mirror overall (preferring the first two series on Channel 4), I'm still looking forward to the new one.

I had hoped that it would come out in 2016 as originally planned, but definitely it's better late than never -- all the more anticipation.

So American Gods is already on (missed the first epsiode). I enjoyed the first episode of the new Doctor Who series/season. Been enjoying Broadchurch. So far of this year's offerings, I enjoyed Inside No. 9 the most. Shame it doesn't seem to have other fans here, but then I do have pretty quirky tastes.
