Chetarca was an Australian progressive rock band from the 1970s. It recorded only one, self-titled album in 1975. Their style is somehow symphonic prog with extensive use of Hammond organ and acoustic piano, but they also throw a little rock and roll and even boogie to the mix.

Already suggested to Symphonic and rejected, they were rejected also by Xover.

For God's sake, they were even rejected from Prog Related.

Did anyone suggest this to the Eclectic Team in the past? Based on those three samples above, there is a lot going on in this music. They kind of remind me of Supertramp in places with the piano and harmonica, a little bit of symphonic, some jazzy stuff in there. The fast organ playing is slightly reminiscent of Emerson, so I see why some compare them to ELP. Maybe even a cross between Beggars Opera and Yezda Urfa? It's an interesting listen. I see that Doug Larson is carrying this, so I will probably purchase this one soon.

Thanks ozzy_tom!

Thanks ozzy_tom!

They were rejected by Crossover as not Prog.

Later even Prog Related rejected them.

They have no chance in Eclectic
