It strikes me, Mastodon have been the top of the ice berg and quite leading band in development and propelling as innovative juggernaut for at least 5 albums but seem to wain a little now. From its corner comes Elder as a fresh new stoner/sludge/doom beast from the deapth and brings impressive progressive sounds. Colpletly off the radar and suprises with such compelling atmospheric moments. So is Elder the new super in prog sludge or are Mastodn stil reign champion -------------

Just got into Elder. Their discography is much more even in quality than Mastodon's. ------------- ...Histoires Sans Paroles... |
