Orion is maybe the first truly progressive rock attempt in communist Bulgaria, aside from FSB which were quite an eclectic bunch and very often really poppy and estradish. Orion were formed in Sofia in 1978 by schoolmates, among which are Val Kiossovski (now - in the Seattle-based gypsy punk band Kultur Shock) and Adrian Ivanov from the cult Bulgarian heavy (at times even a little prog) metal bands Era and Er Malak. They have just one split-LP together with another art-rock act Subdibula in 1988. Shortly after that the members emigrated. Material is though written for a whole album and there are rumors that such would be released some day, as fellow-musicians Subdibula did three years ago.

Welcome to Progarchives.
Sadly in our library, an artist, who has released only split material, has not been added at all.
And via their sample above you posted, we cannot say they're progressive enough.

Thanks for your suggestion.
