Did Supertramp have a finest hour....? Oh..of course that was Crime of the Century. Interestingly...that album, Crisis, garnered 3.58 higher than the first 2 and higher than 4 of the later albums. and of course the answer is....Meaning.... ;)

Crisis is an album with a very warm mood and production, i find the rythem section manage to develop a more personal groove on Crisis and i also like the diversity of music on it. My week spots are the hammond heavy Aint Nobody But Me. Soapbox Opera, Whom i would have had on the CD player in Elon Musks spaceTesla instead of Space Oddity -------------

I like Another Man's Woman... The thing I always liked about Supertramp the most was Rick Davies pounding away on a piano. The man is just such a great pianist and he's a hard player. Lots of dynamics. I could hear the man riff on a piano for days and not get tired of it. One of my first favorite rock bands, I personally have a fondness for ALL of Supertramp's music. I consider this to be their best album by a small margin over Crime of the Century. "Sister Moonshine" is my favorite on this album, and one of the best they ever did!

Supertramp is my #2 all-time.. This to me is right up there with "Crime....." I picked "A Soapbox Opera" but I also love "Normal Day", and "Another Man's Woman" |
