A guitar genius that we lost a year ago, Larry came flying into New York from Seattle at the end of the summer, 1965, where he dove into the music scene, jamming with anyone and everyone who would let him sit in. He was open to any and all styles and arrangements though he remained a true jazz guitar traditionalist to the end.

For many people, this album is one of the high-water marks of the nascent jazz-rock fusion scene. Joining Larry on various songs are John McLaughlin, Miroslav Vitous, Billy Cobham, and, on "Chris," Chick Corea. Released in March of 1970.

I love the high-speed fun and great Cobham work of "Wrong Is Right." Plus, it's best recorded song on the album.

This is an album I truly enjoy, not just for the names that are on it, but for the interplay between them. I could choose any song on this album, and it would be an amazing experience.
