With the new album coming out, more than 20 years since their debut, I'd be curious whom do you consider as The singer of the band. Paul Manzi has truly a powerful voice and range (technically might be the best). Despite that I still think that Rob Sowden's expressiveness and chemistry within the band were the things that made the band very special and distinctive, and I wish he could be back in the band. I also have a lot of admiration for the job that both Carson and Wrightson did on early albums. What's your preference for the band?

I haven't heard Paul Manzi's voice, so I cannot vote.

I can not vote, so I just write Rob Sowden's name here.

John Carson  The first album is still my favorite. Although his solo project Hypermania wasn't very good. Does anyone know if he is still recording?

Also heard Hypermania. Carson has wonderful voice, but the music... despite being pop, it wouldn't have to be bad, but the production is terrible. Extremely cheesy synths, drum machines (terribly programmed)... quite a waste of opportunity there. I don't know about anything else where he is involved.
