Anyone familar with some of the best?
electronic......
Roedelius - Wenn der Sudwind Weht (81)
Wolfgang Bock - Cycles (80)
Albert Vondeyen - Atmosphere
AR and the Machines - Die Grune Reise
Gunter Schickert - Samtvogel
Eberhard Schoener - Bali Agung
Between - And the Waters Opened
fusion
Thirsty Moon - Youll Never Come Back
La Dusseldorf - same
Pell Mell - Marburg
Missus Beastly - Dr. Aftershave and the Mixed Pickle
Morpheus - Rabenteuer
Aera - Humanium est
Doldinger - same
Deuter - Aum
Virus - Revelation
most of these are better than 90% of the Canterbury
scene albums released from the 70's and superior
to the bad english vocals german bands from the
same time period.

Bali-Agung is not instrumental though; there is a lot of singing on it, and even a fairy tale told (in Balinesian, of course).
the name of the Roedelius album is "Wenn der Südwind weht", if I remember right.
Aera is already in the archives
